it is a late 1972 (Oct) productionmaking it an actual 1973. Very nice original 1973 Datsun 240z Ready forrestoration or daily driver with a little tuning. I acquired this z about 5years ago from the central California valley. It had been sitting for 6 years. After sitting in my garage for the past 5 years I finally started tinkering withit. New gas, changed the oil, adjusted valves, new starter, ignition switch,clutch master and slave cylinder. Started right up drove it around the block,transmission seemed fine as are brakes but it will need some carburetor work andfine tuning to be road worthy, and new tires etc. They hold air but are 10 years old. Compression check ranged from 150 to 160 on all cylinders It is anumbers matching engine. It has had a white repaint at some time and it is anoriginal white car. Upholstery is clean but not original. All body panels andglass appear to be original and firewall vin matches strut tower and dash vinand as far as I can tell it has never been in an accident and no bondo present. Things that need attention are; Carbs, they appear to be the original smogequipped flat top hitachis which I heard are pretty hard to tune properly so Ihaven't attempted yet. Headlights don't work (not sure why, fuses areok) Rust in rear quarter panels in front of rear wheels and rear hatch panel ( iwill include new patch panels as in pictures) Also a little surface rust and alittle rust in floorboards and A pillars as shown in pics.

Hard to find 1973 datsun 240z in great condition. White paint with red detail body lines. The body is very clean. Interior is black and red leather and has been well-maintained interior is clean, but one minor crack in the dashboard. 4-speed manual transmission and original straight 6 engine. The car has been garage kept and runs well. Odometer reads 20,916, but i assume it is 120,916 actual miles. Excellent opportunity to own a very rare collectible sports car! Dp9motors.
